The Genesis of the Movie and Music Bloggers Networks
In the vibrant year of 2010, a spark of inspiration and serendipity ignited the creation of two unique communities: the Movie Bloggers Network and the Music Bloggers Network. These networks were born on Facebook and Twitter from a deep love for storytelling and a passion for the arts, aiming to bring together like-minded individuals who shared a fervor for movies and music.

The Movie Bloggers Network was envisioned as a haven for movie enthusiasts, critics, filmmakers, actors, and fans. It was a place where cinematic experiences could be shared, dissected, and celebrated. Simultaneously, the Music Bloggers Network emerged as a parallel universe for music lovers designed as a sanctuary for music bloggers, curators, and influencers. It aimed to amplify the voices of those who lived and breathed music, providing a platform to share discoveries, champion underrated artists, and celebrate the magic of melodies. The goal was to create a collaborative space where voices from all corners of the film and music world could come together, fostering a rich tapestry of cinema, music, art, discovery and insights.

In late 2019, we passionately reached out to movie bloggers and music bloggers announcing new websites and many bloggers registered their blogs. It was a great start but then Covid hit and by December 2020, we had to admit failure. Focus on a mobile app, poor planning, running a creative agency, family distractions, and an unwilling investor all played a part. The shutdown of Coronavirus pandemic exacerbated it. The overwhelming feeling of unfinished resolutions was hard to shake though the networks continued to thrive on Facebook and Twitter.

A New Chapter Begins
So after many false starts and abandonments, we are now thrilled to announce that the Music Bloggers Network has taken a significant leap forward. We have relaunched and our new beta website is now live and ready to welcome you into our vibrant community.

What you have now is a community with its heart and spirit in the right place and enough zeal to push it forward. We are aspiring to create a music website that hopefully, every music blogger and every music fan will like and love. Designed with a music mag vibe. We want to help you uncover new underrated artists, hear the best tracks that you’ve never heard before, read insightful music reviews, and discover the most awesome music blogs from around the world.
